Landshut is a town in the German state of Bavaria, on the banks of the river Isar. Landshut is the capital and the largest city of Lower Bavaria, one of the seven administrative regions of the state, and the seat of the surrounding Landshut district, which it isn't a part of. As of 31 December 2024, the town has a population of 71,863.
